10/06/2026 2636 W Michigan St, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46222-3727, United States of AmericaDaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician who is looking to make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
Some details about this position:
* No Dialysis experience is required - health care experience is strongly preferred.
* 9-10 week training program - training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
* Potential to float to various clinics
* You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - shift times will start as early as 4:00AM.
* Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Educate patient on kidney disease.
* Technician Duties: To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Must be comfortable working around blood and needles and mixing acid or bicarb
* Must be comfortable working 8-12 hour shifts, 3-4 days/week, flexible in schedule
* Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
